此藏品洪熙通宝，首先观察本品，生坑出土，包浆锈色纯真，其锈叠嶂，非伪锈可比。直读光背，直径4cm，重18.8g，钱文书意特别值得注意，钱文楷书文笔粗壮有力，极具洪武钱风，其中“洪”字第一点处于“共”字第一横上方，而非左边“通”字走之较后收笔上翘“寶”字则呈高大之态。这种书意，民间私铸委实难以制造。另外，钱币的字口深峻，铸制规整，官铸迹象也是比较明显的。
